Agility tournament at the SV OG Ingolstadt-Mailing
After a long time we were today at an agility tournament and it was worthwhile.
Although Merlin was kind of mad before starting, he had a terrific run without mistakes.
Result:  1st place   A-Lauf  A3
In addition his daughter Curly Sue with Magic Eyes, called "Sue" was at the tournament. She is a very nice and clever little bitch with quite dark eyes.

We were in the Czech Republic and visited the puppies of Debbie and Merlin.
The puppies have a large, beautiful garden, where they can romp. They are now 7 weeks old and will be picked up by their new owners within the next days.
It was a very nice afternoon with Pavla, Franisek and their sons.
Unfortunately our navigation system  brought us to the wrong way, when we were on our way home and so we needed nearly twice as much time as usual, until we were back home. again.

The 5 girls in the kennel "Hafkins"
turned 3 weeks today.
The puppies have got names now.

The Q-litter "with Magic Eyes"
turned 8 weeks today.
We visited the puppies and spent a nice, but very hot afternoon in Grasbrunn in the garden of the family Kalteis with 7 adult border-collies, 5 puppies and 3 rabbits

The puppies of Debbie and Merlin were born today

5 bitches, 3 black-white ones an 2 blue-merle ones
All puppies and the mother are in good health.

The puppies of Sun and Merlin were born.
5 puppies:
4 bitches , 3 black-white ones and 1 blue-merle, and
1 dog black-white.

CACIB St. Gallen animalia 2009

Hazel Numis Arche got an
excellent 2. place in the youth class.
The Judge was Mrs. Judit Korozs-Papp (HU).

Merlin had a lady visitor today.
Revel Bohemia Alke called "Debbie"came with it's owners Pavla and Frantisek Cížková from the Czech Republic. People and dogs got along well at once and spent a nice day together.
If everything goes as planned, the puppies will be expected in the middle of the month July in the kennel Hafkins

Gonioskopie
Today we were with Merlin at a  specialist for ophthalmology.
Merlin was tested for inheritable eye-diseases inclusive glaucoma.
Result:
Merlin is free from all inheritable eye-diseases, the angles of his eye chamber are perfect. It was determined by Gonioscopy.

Gina got the first place  in the overall classification and got the title:
Kreismeister der Kreisgruppe II.

Jumping3:      3. place)

Merlin got the third place in the overall classification:
(A-Lauf A3:    6. place,
Jumping 3:    1. place)

Rendevous with Sun

Renate Kalteis  arrived with her bitch My Sun with magic Eyes.
Merlin at once fell in love with this nice girl. Although it was the first time for Sun, she let Merlin mate her without problems. If everything goes smoothly, the puppies will be born at the end of May.

Happy birthday Gina

Our sweet turns 8 today.
As she is still completely fit, she is allowed again to take part in agility-tournaments this year.

Of course she will be pampered today with a big veal bone.

A walk in the snow
We made the most of the last day of the holidays and met Bianca with her border-collie pack for a winter walk in the biting cold. The young ones Icy and Bailey had a lot of fun romping around in the powdery snow. But also the grown up border-collies enjoyed the walk.
